Itinerary
Day 1: Saturday, October 2 - Depart USA
Depart the United States on overnight flights to Rome. Begin your pilgrimage honoring Thomas Aquinas, preparing spiritually and musically for the journey.
Day 2: Sunday, October 3 - Rome | Assisi
Arrive in Rome and meet your Italian Tour Manager. Travel to Assisi, with lunch en route. Reflect on St. Thomas Aquinas’ devotion to the Eucharist and contemplative prayer. Gather for a group welcome dinner. Overnight in Assisi.
Day 3: Monday, October 4 - Assisi
Sing during a Public Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis, inspired by the harmony of faith and music that Aquinas valued (subject to availability). Tour the basilica and Church of St. Clare, and visit the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Assisi.
Day 4: Tuesday, October 5 - Assisi | Orvieto | Rome
Travel to Orvieto to see the Eucharistic Miracle of Bolsena, a moment that influenced Aquinas’ theological work on the Eucharist. Celebrate a private Mass before lunch. Continue to Rome for dinner on your own. Overnight in Rome.
Day 5: Wednesday, October 6 - Vatican City
Attend a Papal Audience if available. Sing at a Public Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, reflecting on Aquinas’ role in shaping Church doctrine. Tour the basilica, then enjoy free time before a group dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 6: Thursday, October 7 - Aquino | St. Thomas Pilgrimage
Travel to Aquino, St. Thomas Aquinas’ birthplace. Celebrate Mass at the Church of San Tommaso d’Aquino. Visit Roccasecca castle ruins where he was born and Fossanova Abbey, where he died in 1274. Contemplate his life, studies, and lasting impact on theology. Return to Rome for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Friday, October 8 - Dominican Rome
Tour the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum), center of Thomistic scholarship. Attend a Public Mass and present a choir concert at Santa Maria sopra Minerva, where Aquinas once taught. Enjoy a group dinner and overnight in Rome. Day 8 Saturday, October 9 Rome Tour the Vatican Museums and Sistine chapel. Celebrate Vigil Mass at Basilica of St. Mary Major before a farewell dinner with pizza-making experience. Overnight in Rome.
Day 9: Sunday, October 10 - Return Home
Transfer to the airport for your return flights, carrying memories of St. Thomas Aquinas’ legacy, sacred music, and your shared pilgrimage experience.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS:
Deposit: $750 per person due upon registration
Second Deposit: $1,250 due on or before 4/5/2027
Final Payment: Balance due on or before 7/5/2027
Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee.
All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
