Join Our Lady of Sorrows’ Centennial Pilgrimage to Lourdes and Fatima
Join me for a Marian pilgrimage as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. In gratitude for a century of faith and in honor of our Blessed Mother, we will journey from Portugal to France, visiting some of the most sacred shrines of our Catholic faith—praying at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, walking in the footsteps of pilgrims in Santiago de Compostela, reflecting at Loyola, and concluding at the healing waters of Lourdes. As we mark this historic milestone, may we entrust our parish and our families to the loving care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and I hope you will prayerfully consider joining us on this sacred journey.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Sunday, October 18 – Departure
Depart the USA on overnight flights to Lisbon, Portugal.
Day 2: Monday, October 19 – Lisbon | Fatima
Upon arrival in Lisbon, meet your local Catholic tour guide who will accompany the group from Fatima to Lourdes. Board a private motor coach and travel to Fatima. After hotel check-in, celebrate Mass followed by a welcome dinner and overnight in Fatima.
Day 3: Tuesday, October 20 – Fatima
After breakfast, celebrate Mass at the Chapel of Apparitions. Visit the Hamlet of Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady’s appearance after their return from prison. Walk the Via Sacra while praying the Stations of the Cross and visit the church where the children were baptized. Enjoy free time for prayer and exploration, then join the evening candlelight procession. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Fatima.
Day 4: Wednesday, October 21 – Coimbra | Porto | Santiago de Compostela
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel to Coimbra. Upon arrival, celebrate Mass at the Carmelite Cloister where Sister Lucia lived. Continue to Porto for a lunch stop, then travel north into Spain to Santiago de Compostela. Group dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela.
Day 5: Thursday, October 22 – Santiago de Compostela
After breakfast, visit the Cathedral of St. James and attend the Pilgrim Mass. Venerate the relics of St. James in the crypt. Enjoy a free afternoon. Dinner is on your own, with overnight in Santiago de Compostela.
Day 6: Friday, October 23 – Santiago de Compostela | Burgos
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and enjoy a short walk on the Camino de Santiago. Travel east to Burgos for Mass and a guided visit of the Cathedral of Burgos. Enjoy free time along the Paseo del Espolón. Group dinner and overnight in Burgos.
Day 7: Saturday, October 24 – Burgos | Loyola | Lourdes
After breakfast, depart for Loyola to visit the birthplace of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Celebrate Mass in the Chapel of Conversion and visit the Basilica of St. Ignatius and his family home. Continue into France to Lourdes, participate in the evening candlelight procession. Overnight in Lourdes.
Day 8: Sunday, October 25 – Lourdes
After breakfast, celebrate Mass at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. Enjoy a guided tour of the Basilica, sanctuary area, and baths. Free afternoon for prayer and personal devotions, followed by the evening candlelight procession. Dinner is on your own, with overnight in Lourdes.
Day 9: Monday, October 26 – Lourdes
After breakfast, celebrate morning Mass and take a walking tour in the footsteps of St. Bernadette, including her birthplace and family home. Time is available for the Blessing of the Sick, Stations of the Cross, or water rituals. Farewell dinner and overnight in Lourdes.
Day 10: Tuesday, October 27 – Return to USA
Depart for the airport for return flights to the USA.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS:

Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due on or before May 18, 2026
Final Payment: Balance due July 18, 2026
Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee.
All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
