Join the Lumen Institute and Fr. Mark Haydu on a Pilgrimage to France & Italy
I invite you to join me on this pilgrimage through France and Italy, where we will encounter some of the most meaningful places in our Catholic faith. In Lourdes, we will pray at the Grotto and walk in the footsteps of St. Bernadette. In Bordeaux, we will discover the region’s celebrated wine traditions while exploring its beautiful countryside. Our journey will conclude in Rome, where we will have the privilege of witnessing the priestly ordinations of the Legionaries of Christ and attending the first Mass of a newly ordained priest. I look forward to sharing these special moments of faith, prayer, and fellowship with you.

Itinerary
Day 1: Sunday, April 18 - Depart USA
Depart on overnight flights to Toulouse, France.
Day 2: Monday, April 19 - Arrival in Lourdes
Upon arrival, meet your local, English-speaking tour manager and transfer by motor coach from Toulouse to Lourdes. Check into the hotel and celebrate Mass. Enjoy a group welcome dinner before joining the candlelight procession with pilgrims from around the world. Overnight in Lourdes..
Day 3: Tuesday, April 20 - Lourdes
After breakfast, celebrate Mass at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. Take a guided visit of the of the Sanctuary grounds. In the afternoon, walk in the footsteps of St. Bernadette with visits to her childhood home, birthplace, and parish where she was baptized. Dinner is on your own before joining the evening candlelight procession. Overnight in Lourdes.
Day 4: Wednesday, April 21 - Lourdes | Bordeaux
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Bordeaux, enjoying the drive through the French countryside. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and celebrate Mass at a local Legionary parish. Enjoy a guided tour of Bordeaux followed by a group dinner. Overnight in Bordeaux.
Day 5: Thursday, April 22 - Bordeaux
After breakfast, celebrate Mass before departing for Saint-Émilion. Explore the medieval village on a guided visit and experience the region’s winemaking traditions. Time is at leisure for lunch and exploring the village before returning to Bordeaux in the afternoon. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Bordeaux.
Day 6: Friday, April 23 - Bordeaux | Rome
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Rome. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and celebrate Mass at a local church. Enjoy a visit to the Borghese Gardens, followed by a group dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 7: Saturday, April 24 - Rome | Mass of Ordination
After breakfast, attend the priestly ordinations for the Legionaries. Enjoy a reception following the Mass. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring Rome. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Rome.
Day 8: Sunday, April 25 - Rome
Attend the first Mass of a newly ordained priest. Spend the afternoon at leisure for personal exploration, prayer, shopping, or sightseeing in the Eternal City. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Rome.
Day 9: Monday, April 26 - Rome
After breakfast, depart for Orvieto and celebrate Mass in the Orvieto Cathedral. Enjoy a guided tour of the Cathedral, including the Chapel of the Corporal and the Eucharistic Miracle of Bolsena. Continue to Bolsena and visit the Basilica of Santa Cristina, site of the Eucharistic Miracle. Enjoy time for lunch and to explore the town before returning to Rome. Gather for a group farewell dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 10: Tuesday, April 27 - Depart for the USA
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your independent flights home.

SINGLE SUPPLEMENT + $1,200
*This price reflects a $300 per person Early Booking Discount for deposits received before 10/08/2026 and a $200 per person Check Discount for those paying the remaining balance by check after the initial deposit.
TRAVEL PROTECTION:
Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended and must be purchased within 14 days of intial deposit.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION TERMS:
Deposit: $1,000 per person due upon registration
Second Payment: $1,250 per person due on or before 11/19/2026
Final Payment: Balance due 01/18/2027
Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee.
All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
