ITINERARY
Day 1: Thursday, March 4 – Depart USA
Depart the United States on overnight flights to Rome.
Day 2: Friday, March 5 – Arrival
Upon arrival in Rome, you will be warmly welcomed by the Hallow team and your local Catholic tour managers, who will accompany you throughout the pilgrimage. Board your luxury motor coach and transfer to Assisi. Celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels and visit the famous Porziuncola, the birthplace of the Franciscan Order prior to checking into your hotel. Gather for a group welcome dinner and reflection before your first overnight in Assisi.
Day 3: Saturday, March 6 – San Rufino | Basilica of St. Clare
Begin the day with Mass at the Cathedral of San Rufino, where St. Francis was baptized. Tour the Basilica of St. Clare and venerate the San Damiano Cross. Enjoy lunch on your own, followed by free time to explore Assisi at leisure. Overnight in Assisi.
Day 4: Sunday, March 7 – Basilica of St. Francis | Tomb of St. Carlo Acutis
After a leisurely morning, celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis, followed by a guided tour of the church and surrounding grounds. Visit Santa Maria Maggiore and pray at the tomb of Saint Carlo Acutis, known as “God’s Influencer.” Spend the evening exploring the charming streets of Assisi and enjoy dinner on your own. Overnight in Assisi.
Day 5: Monday, March 8 – St. Mary Major Sunset Experience
Check out of your hotel and depart for Rome. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch in Piazza Navona before checking into your hotel. Celebrate Mass at St. Mary Major, followed by an exclusive after hours visit tour of the Basilica and a rooftop reception overlooking the Eternal City (pending confirmation). Overnight in Rome.
Day 6: Tuesday, March 9 – St. Peter’s Basilica | PNAC | Vatican Museums
After breakfast, celebrate Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, followed by a guided tour and time for prayer. Walk to the Pontifical North American College for lunch and a seminarian-led tour. Enjoy free time before a private, after-hours visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel (pending confirmation), concluding with a reception in the courtyard. Overnight in Rome.
Day 7: Wednesday, March 10 – Papal Audience | Castel Gandolfo
Depart early for St. Peter’s Square to attend the papal audience with Pope Leo XIV, the first American pope. Transfer to Castel Gandolfo to tour the Apostolic Palace and Borgo Laudato Si’, open to the public for the first time in 400 years. Enjoy lunch in the gardens, followed by Mass in the Garden of the Madonnina. Return to Rome for an evening at leisure and dinner on your own. Overnight in Rome.
Day 8: Thursday, March 11 – St. Paul Outside the Walls | St. John Lateran | Scala Sancta
After breakfast, transfer to St. Paul Outside the Walls for morning prayer, Mass, and a guided tour. Continue to St. John Lateran, where Pope Innocent III approved St. Francis’s way of life. The afternoon will be free to enjoy Rome. Gather for a festive farewell dinner celebrating the friendships formed along the journey. Overnight in Rome.
Day 9: Friday, March 12 – Return Home
Transfer to the airport for return flights home.

Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration
Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due on or before 10/1/2026
Final Payment: Balance due on or before 12/1/2026
Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee.
All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
