Itinerary
Day 1: Thursday, September 24 - Journey to St. Louis | Participate in the Beatification
Pilgrims depart Merrillville, Indiana early morning and begin a prayerful journey to St. Louis for the historic Beatification of Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen. Upon arrival, pilgrims will gather at The Dome at America’s Center to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration honoring one of the most beloved Catholic voices of the twentieth century. Surrounded by thousands of faithful from across the country, experience the joy and reverence of the Beatification Mass and ceremonies. Following the celebration, transfer to experience a group dinner together before checking in at the hotel and time to relax and reflect on the significance of the day. Overnight in St. Louis.
Day 2: Friday, September 25 - Peoria | Return to Indiana
Following breakfast at the hotel, depart St. Louis and travel to Peoria, the longtime home of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen and the center of his enduring legacy. Upon arrival at St. Mary’s Cathedral, pilgrims will have the opportunity to visit Archbishop Sheen’s tomb, pray in quiet reflection, and explore the museum dedicated to his life, ministry, and remarkable contributions to the Catholic Church. Concelebrate Mass at the cathedral, deepening the spiritual connection to this beloved shepherd whose words and witness inspired generations of Catholics around the world. Following time for prayer and devotion, the pilgrimage continues for your return journey back to Merrillville, Indiana. Overnight in Rome.
